I just spoke to Terri Grasse yesterday. She just sold her house and is doing very well. We were going to have Herb and Terri at this meet but now we will have Terri! She is so excited to come and see everyone. She told me that Bricklin people are the best of all the car people and Herb loved the meets. Needless to say she is comming to look at the cars and will even paint a special picture for auction at the meet. We are glad to have her!!! Should add nicely to the meet since she was there during the good old days! |

Can we race on the track (I mean drive) or are we just going to look at it? |

The plan is to do time trials/head-to-head races on the quarter-mile track. Still trying to finalize the times, but it should be Thursday mid-day. |

On the web it looks like they have two different venues. An 1/8 th mile dragstrip and a short circle track. So this would be drag racing then? |

1/8 mile is correct. Yes, drag style is correct. |

I just made reservations for this, and the guy on the phone said $150 a night. I explained the whole show-rate thing and he said to check closer to the show for "any deals." I said Im not agreeing to a reservation number that remotely suggests $150 and he finally said, "I can do $99 Fri and Sat,"
I am not particularly confident in this rate being honored. we might be aware of this. |

Did you ask them to check for the "Bricklin" rate? Stuart and I were able to get the rooms with no issue. I'll contact the hotel later today to follow up.

Twice. I said there was a special rate of $99 for the car show and then I mentioned the Bricklin show. He didn't even respond to it. It did appear that English might not be he first choice in language. (insert obvious stereotype joke here)
